Keightly Street 2011 – Newcastle

Brief

Following on from the success of walkARTbout and the launch of Street Art Walking, a new mural was commissioned a section in a small laneway, Keightly Street, in Hunter Street mall.

Project Information

Tez’s work ‘The World is your Monster’ was chosen for the laneway, fitting nicely within some existing shade structures. The world demonstrates outstanding aerosol blending techniques, as well as impressive stencil-cutting skills, as the work towers over three metres in height. This artwork was featured as a main piece for the official launch of SAW, which included an artist talk by Tez.
